Marika's enthusiasm for the outdoors and resort lifestyle is what attracted her to Whistler and ultimately led to her decision to make the top ski resort in North America her home. She first came to Whistler in 1992 to "take a year off" after graduating with a Commerce Degree specializing in tourism management and since then, she has never looked back. Marika brings that same enthusiasm to her role as a realtor, helping her clients market and sell their properties or purchase their own Whistler home.

Prior to joining The Whistler Real Estate Company in 2002, Marika owned and operated a successful event management and promotions business. Her entrepreneurial background, marketing experience and negotiating expertise has translated into success in Whistler's real estate market. Recipient of the President's Platinum Award of Excellence, Marika has consistently been ranked one of Whistler Real Estate's top selling realtors and is also a member of the prestigious Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Medallion Club.

Currently, she sits on the board of the Association of Whistler Realtors.

Marika, her husband Paul—a 30-year Whistler resident and builder/contractor and their daughter Marci live in the Whistler Cay Estates neighbourhood in a home they designed and built together.

With a long felt desire to learn to snowboard, Emma headed to Whistler for a 3 month vacation, which would eventually end up becoming her home. Since her permanent arrival to Whistler in 2008 Emma has held positions in the hospitality industry, as well she was a member of the sales team at Tourism Whistler. Having honed her sales skills and with a strong customer service background, Emma has acquired a broad knowledge of the Whistler area which has made working in Whistler's real estate industry a perfect fit. In her role as real estate assistant, she is in charge of ensuring that all the administrative components of the buying and selling process are handled in a timely and accurate fashion as well as providing client support. Always driven to learn and gain knowledge, Emma is currently enhancing her skills by studying advanced web design.
